STLtoday | Sites announced for Tour of Missouri
Looks like the US will soon have a fourth major stage race, as the Tour de Georgia, Tour of California, and Tour of Utah are joined by September's Tour of Missouri, running September 11-16 from Kansas City to St. Louis.
Former US Postal rider Kevin Livingston of St. Louis is the race director, and organizers expect 5 ProTour teams and 120 riders in all to take the start.
The new tour will kick off with a UCI 2.1 rating. Stage 3's individual time trial is in Missouri's music city, Branson.
