Some of the most entertaining reading to come out of race organizations is the nightly commissaire's report, where race officials note the fines and penalties being handed out for misbehavior on the day's stage.
Today, there's a fairly common infraction, when Omer Kem's Priority Health car helped him with a mechanical but pulled off to the road's left instead of the right. Penalties are always assessed in Swiss francs, and that one cost Kem 5 francs and the team manager 200 francs.
More interesting was this entry:
Manager;; Discovery Channel Bruneel [sic], Johan Article 25 CHF 200 and prohibited from Driving Team car in stage 5 for driving in excess of 90 MPH (150Kph) per Georgia State Patrol Speed measurement.
Just in case you were wondering what it's like in the team cars.

The driver of the Discovery Channel Pro Team RV blocked the view of race fans, and then slammed his window shut when implored to back up. A policeman had to tell him to move back.
What a jerk!!
